DESCRIPTION
This intensive 6-day course is designed to train technicians in the safe, efficient, and professional maintenance of zip lines, suspension bridges, elevated platforms, and other aerial structures used in adventure parks and canopy tours.
Through theoretical sessions and field exercises, participants will develop skills in diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and documenting critical components, applying technical criteria, industry standards, and best operational practices.
The program covers essential topics such as maintenance planning, technical communication, safety protocols, proper use of tools, cable tensioning, platform adjustments, braking systems, and functional assessment of descentdevices. In addition, participants will engage in intensive practical training through field activities, realistic simulations, and team-based exercises.
OBJECTIVES
Develop technical skills to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on zip line systems, bridges, platforms, and other structural elements of aerial courses.
Train participants in the safe and proper use of tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and measuring devices, applying standardized technical procedures and height safety protocols.
Build competence in interpreting and applying technical manuals, maintenance sheets, emergency plans, and operational documentation, promoting traceability and informed decision-making.
Practice hands-on skills for the installation, adjustment, and verification of steel cables, brakes, tensioners, platforms, and anchoring systems, using load, tension, deflection, and structural strength criteria.
Foster a culture of professionalism, effective communication, and teamwork, strengthening technicians’ ability to operate within organized, safe systems aligned with industry standards.
